These virtual classes will address home practice with specific props for back care, scoliosis and related injuries. Precision with these props becomes more and more important as your practice progresses. To really learn to heal independently one must understand the principles behind the props. In this series, Deborah will go over specifics of practice combining the principles needed to work with different back conditions with each class’ prop theme. It is strongly suggested you have the props listed on the Samamkaya site and if possible, have the additional props listed next to each session. Many props are available through Samamkaya.
For these classes: 1-2 folding chairs. Some kind of counter, table, or railing will be useful. Empty wall space can also work. 1-4 full size blocks — wood is best, or some kind of weight like sandbags or big bags of rice to put on or against the blocks. A quarter round or small 1/2 block will also come in handy.
Please have 6 months regular practice. This class series is not recommended for brand new beginners.
